Casa de Bandini is one of the best Mexican Restaurants in Carlsbad with a very traditional colonial style and Mexican food and the best giant margaritas ever.
Delicious homemade tortillas and mariachi entertainment makes a unique and fun Mexican dinner at this place that will be hard to forget! Be careful not to drink more than two of those giant Margaritas…
They have two other sisters in San Diego, Casa de Guadalajara and in La Mesa, Casa de Pico.

Casero Taqueria offers mazing customer service with indoor and outdoor dining and relaxing ambiance. The outdoor area has an amazing view and is beautifully decorated with comfy couch pillows for an ideal and relaxing lunch or dinner.
In case you don’t want to leave your 4 legged friend at home, they allow dogs in the patio!
The food is delicious, some recommendations are the Mexican Cobb, Baja fish taco and burrito. And of course, Margaritas are a must.
Miguel’s Cocina – Carlsbad

Miguel’s Cocina is a bustling restaurant and worth every single minute if you are in line waiting for a table as it offers a fun environment with friendly service and festive decor.
They have TV’s throughout the restaurant if you want to watch a game.
The food portions are huge, so you better get ready to eat at this place. The grilled octopus taco is crazy delicious. They even have burgers on the kid’s menu for the little eaters.
On a special note: they serve cheese sauce with your chips and salsa.
La Especial Norte – Encinitas

Locals and vacationers alike love this place! La Especial Norte is a very authentically decorated Mexican restaurant with a family friendly environment. The portions are a good size and the food tastes great!

The Taco Stand – Encinitas

Located in the heart of Encinitas, be prepared to wait in line, but it is worth it!
Of course, the favorites at The Taco Stand are tacos made with handmade tortillas, great quality of meat and fresh ingredients. Guacamole and salsas are made from scratch on the daily basis.
In addition to the delicious the food are imported beers and delicious churros!
You can see the food being prepared, a lot of energy in the kitchen!! The atmosphere is simple but fun, find a seat if you can and enjoy!
